I am a former Senior Official of Deutsche Bundesbank, where I oversaw all market infrastructure and banking operations, including the Eurosystem’s TARGET services (TARGET2, T2S, TIPS).
I represented Deutsche Bundesbank in leading European and international committees, such as:
-
The ECB Market Infrastructure Board (MIB)
-
The G20 Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI) at the BIS in Basel
-
The cooperative oversight of CLS at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
I am also widely recognized in Frankfurt for my instrumental role in establishing RMB clearing, strengthening Germany's position as a global financial hub.
Following my central banking career, I transitioned to senior leadership roles in the private sector, including:
-
Global Head of Markets, NowCM Group Services (Luxembourg)
-
CEO, NowCM France, operating a multilateral trading facility (MTF) for commercial paper in Paris
-
Non‑Executive Board Member, Axiology (LT), a Vilnius‑based DLT trading and settlement system.
My work focuses on digitalisation, distributed ledger technology (DLT) and the modernisation of market processes from issuance to post‑trade. At Deutsche Bundesbank, I initiated and led the pioneering Blockbaster blockchain settlement project series in collaboration with Deutsche Boerse.
